Synopsis Patrick Troughton's Doctor gets involved in galactic piracy in this exclusive recording of a "lost" television adventure. This six-part adventure, brimming with vision of space travel in the 21st century, offers space opera on a grand scale.4/5(11).

A light-hearted cowboy movie told in a space-opera context, "The Space Pirates" suffers from padding and the then view that realistic space travel meant slow, ponderous journeys in real time. But if you're a fan of Holmes or the Troughton Era, it's absolutely worth a listen.4/5(11).

Pirates in SPAAA-AAAACE! The final missing story is Patrick Troughton's penultimate outing as the second Doctor. Only ep 2 of this six-parter survives and is on the Lost in Time set, which also.
